From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Top Dawg Entertainment has a big 2016 planned.

On Monday, TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith posted his team’s six album schedule on Instagram writing, “S**t about to get nasty real soon... I told y'all I got y'all in 2016 #TDE.”

Both Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul’s records seem most complete with “sample clearance” and “mixing stages” written across the white board.

SZA and Isaiah Rashad are currently in the "4th" and "3rd creative stages" of the production process, respectively.

With Kendrick Lamar’s massive success from 2015's To Pimp A Butterfly, his 2016 seems to be up in the air. Jay Rock is currently on the injured reserve as he recovers from his motorcycle accident he sustained back in February.

It's also worth noting that there are two new artists mentioned by the Top Dawg, simply listed as "John Doe 1 & 2."

The list ends by teasing a 2017 release "BH," an apparent reference to the long-awaited collaborative Black Hippy record TDE fans have been waiting for.
