Talk of Nash's new Riot Grrrl-inspired direction has been greatly exaggerated.

For a long stretch, the spelling of "Kiss That Grrrl" was the only evidence, and that was somewhat undermined by the needy doormat persona she adopted therein. Elsewhere, the screaming on "I Just Love You More" is embarrassing, like a drunk aunt doing Courtney karaoke. Just twice do those hours of listening to Bikini Kill show through.

There's an intellect in there fighting to get out. More of that, please, and less of the Moon/June rubbish.
