Jim Barr's bass riffs and Clive Deamer's drums supply background (and sometimes foreground) to Jake McMurchie's sax and Pete Judge's trumpet. Like Big Air, the horns now take their thrashy/ delicate influences from the Balkans as much as free jazz. As music-for-sitting-down goes, one wimpily feels that a little less crunch might be welcome.
