NYC indie-poppers Fun may be riding high off hit single "We Are Young", but, how long can they evade the trade descriptions act?
To be fair, Some Nights begins with kitsch promise, the title track's tribally drummed singalong jubilantly playing out like Glee doing Vampire Weekend. But from thereon in, this quickly becomes the stuff of a thousand, middling US soft-rockers and when they're not whining like Maroon 5, they're whining like Blink-182.
