Your support makes all the difference.Victorious Festival has announced its second wave of acts, with artists including Brian Wilson, Sleaford Mods and The Cribs all set to perform.
Also joining the lineup in the second wave are Independent favourites Stereo Honey, Fenne Lily, Nathan Ball and Catherine McGrath, plus dub-hop pioneers Dub Pistols, Bang Bang Romeo, Electric Pyramid and Cassia.
Stereo Honey, Fenne Lily and Catherine McGrath were all named on The Independent's Ones to Watch list for 2018. McGrath, who hails from Northern Ireland, is poised to be a crossover success after signing to Warner Bros. and receiving praise for her Carrie Underwood/Kelsea Ballerini-influenced country pop.
Bristol-based singer Fenne Lily impressed us last year with her bare-bones songwriting on the likes of her fourth single "Three Oh Nine", the video for which we premiered last year. And indie-pop band Stereo Honey are going from strength to strength, with slots at several of the biggest UK festivals in 2018 and an upcoming debut headline show at Electrowerkz in London this May.
The event, which takes place in Portsmouth over the August bank holiday weekend, had already revealed that The Libertines, Paul Weller, The Prodigy and The Kaiser Chiefs, Paloma Faith and Happy Mondays would headline its biggest lineup to date. Years & Years and Friendly Fires are also on the billing.
Along with a wealth of live music performances, festival-goers should also expect DJs, children's entertainment, an arts and craft marketplace, and a range of locally sourced food markets and ale stalls.
