U2 and Paul McCartney are among this year's Golden Globe nominees in the category of Best Original Song - Motion Picture. Also nominated is James Horner's "I See You," written for the film Avatar.

U2 was nominated for the song "Winter," featured in the war drama Brothers starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman, and Tobey Maguire. Paul McCartney is nominated in the same category for his song "I Want to Come Home," from the Robert DeNiro/Drew Barrymore film Everybody's Fine.
