The comedy trio - Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone - stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to perform a kid-friendly version of their most beloved track, joined by Fallon himself and the show's house band, The Roots.
The twist? Their expletive-free version was played entirely on classroom instruments; turning the ultimate brag track into a sweet oceanic adventure, outside of one unfortunate mermaid-related incident.
Plus, everyone turned up dressed in sailor suits, which kind of leaves you to wonder where the requisite swim trunks and nautical-themed pashmina afghans were at; but, hey, don't they look adorable!
Not Jorma, though; who forever remains the dunce of the track left at Kinko's straight flipping copies. Looking on the bright side, at least he didn't get replaced by T-Pain this time round.
The gang had dropped by Fallon's show while promoting their new feature film, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, which plays off the likes of Justin Bieber and boy band obsessions; but also features the likes of Simon Cowell, DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, and Adam Levine's hologram.
The film hits UK cinemas 26 August.
