“Betty” is one of the songs on Swift’s new album “Folklore”, which she released by surprise on Friday.
The lyrics name-check two of Lively and Reynolds’s three daughters, referencing both a “James” (the pair’s eldest child) and an “Inez” (their second daughter).
Lively and Reynolds welcomed their third daughter last year but haven’t confirmed her name.
The fact that Swift’s song references a third female name in addition to James and Inez has led to some speculation that the name of the pair’s third child might, in fact, be Betty.
Swift is a known friend of the couple, having been photographed with Lively in the past.
Reynolds also appeared in the 2019 video for Swift’s song “You Need To Calm Down”.
There hasn’t been an official confirmation on the couple’s part.
Reynolds, however, did give Swift’s new album a shout-out on his Instagram Story.
People reported on Friday that a “source with knowledge of the situation” had confirmed that the song “Betty” is named in part after the couple’s third daughter.
The Independent has contacted the pair’s publicist for more information.
