Following in the unlikely footsteps of Ozzy Osbourne's Black Sabbath, country-pop singer Taylor Swift has been announced as the first headliner of the British Summer Time concert series in Hyde Park.
The 24-year-old will take to the London stage on Saturday 27 June next year, the same weekend as Glastonbury Festival.
"I love the idea of playing outdoors at Hyde Park for all your beautiful faces," Swift said in a video message.
"So start brushing up your dance moves and get ready for one crazy party! If rehearsing is not your thing, then you can just make the moves up as you go."
Tickets to see the seven-time Grammy Award winner live go on general sale on Monday 10 November at 9am.
Swift will also perform in Manchester and Glasgow on 23 and 24 June respectively as part of the tour to promote her latest Eighties-inspired album, 1989.
The "22" singer's fifth studio album debuted at number one in the official UK albums chart and across 95 countries worldwide on iTunes.
1989 is on track to sell more than 1.3 million copies by the end of Sunday, which would see Swift take the biggest-selling first week record from Britney Spears, Billboard reports.
Her catchy first single "Shake It Off" also topped the UK chart and spent ten consecutive weeks in the Top 10.
Since BST Hyde Park first began in 2013, huge acts including The Rolling Stones, Tom Jones, Arcade Fire and Neil Young have entertained hundreds of thousands of music lovers.
Last year also saw The Libertines play their largest ever gig, which was halted twice because of "chaos" in the crowd.
Further artists for 2015 are expected to be announced soon.
