From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Sting will embark on a world tour this summer with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, according to an announcement on February 23. The tour begins in early June with shows throughout the US and Canada, followed by performances in the UK and continental Europe.

The tour will see Sting perform his best-known songs in orchestra arrangement, including Police songs "Roxanne," "Next To You," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and "Every Breath You Take," plus songs from the artist's solo career: "Englishman in New York," "Fragile," "Russians," "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You," "Fields of Gold," and "Desert Rose."

The first four tour dates have so far been confirmed, beginning June 2 in Vancouver and continuing on to Denver, Los Angeles, and Chicago. According to the official announcement, the tour will also include visits to New York, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle, Toronto, and Montreal, followed by performances throughout the UK and Europe.

First four tour dates:
