Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Robyn revealed she'll be releasing a new album for the first time in almost 10 years via Twitter.

The Swedish pop singer answered a fan's quote tweet asking "Who decides your next album release date tbh."

The original tweet Robyn had sent said, "Thinking about space, if its public space. Who decides what gets to be in public space?"

Robyn replied to the fan saying, "I do. Some time this year honey" to which fans were delighted.

While Robyn released a remix series in 2016 along with a portion of a track for the final season of Girls called "Honey," she hasn't released a solo record since 2010's Body Talk.

It's possible Robyn was dropping a hint about the title or lead single of the record in talking to her fan.

It seemed like she made a point of saying "honey" at the end.

Of course, fans will speculate and look for clues wherever they can.

In the past few years, Robyn has been featured on Metronomy's most recent record writing with lead singer Joe Mount and played a ton of shows including her own Tekla fest.

Since 2010, she has released music with Todd Rundgren, Kindness, La Bagatelle Magique, Mr. Tophat and Röyksopp.

Now, we just need someone to get a release date out of Robyn on Twitter.
