From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. The minute-long clip shows the singer doing the “craziest thing she’s ever done”: running into a mob of fans and paparazzi while in Paris.
As she runs in slow motion to the track, which sample’s Florence + the Machine’s “Only If For A Night”, the crowd sprint towards her, screaming at the top of their lungs.
Eventually, they lift Rihanna upon their shoulders, snapping as many photographs as possible, all before she’s rushed back into her protected vehicle.
The singer recently made headlines after calling on fans to stop playing Pokémon Go at her concerts, a statement that was made following a video of a Beyoncé fan playing the game at the front of a concert went viral.
She told the French crowd: "I don't want to see you catching any Pokémons up in this b*tch.”
