Rapper Rick Ross has reportedly been rushed to hospital after being found unresponsive.

A police report received by PEOPLE details that a person called for emergency medical support to Ross’s Miami mansion.

Over the phone, they said someone matching Ross’s description was “unresponsive,” “breathing heavy” and “slobbing out the mouth.”

When the male came around, they were reportedly “combative” and police officers were called to the location.

Sources connected with the rapper have since spoken to TMZ, claiming Ross has been hooked up to a life support machine called an ECMO (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), which takes over the functions of his heart and lungs.

The publication says Ross has entered the cardiac unit of the Miami hospital, strongly hinting he may have had a heart attack.

However, family and friends have since denied Ross is on life support, fellow rapper Fat Trel writing on Instagram that Ross was was “good” and “not on ‘life support’”.

A former girlfriend of Ross’s and mother of their child has since issued a statement simply reading: “Pray for him.”

Other famous rappers, including Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, and Missy Elliot have posted messages in support of Ross.

Ross has a history of seizures, having suffered two within six hours of each other back in 2011 while flying on a private jet.
