Pusha T fires back at Drake with searing diss track 'The Story of Adidon'

The longstanding beef between hip hop artists Drake and Pusha T has escalated further after the Daytona rapper dropped a new diss track - "The Story of Adidon" in response to Drake's searing "Duppy Freestyle".

"Duppy Freestyle" was a response to Pusha's track "Infrared" from his new, Kanye West-produced album Daytona, which featured jabs about Pusha's career and an invoice for $100,000 from Drake for "promotional assistance and career reviving".

With "The Story of Adidon", Pusha escalates the feud into something of a celebrity scandal, where the cover art shows a photo of Drake in blackface - which Pusha insists is real - and accompanies a jab about Drake "always afraid he wasn't black enough".

The image reportedly dates back to a photo shoot from 2008 for a forgotten art project, taken by photographer David Leyes. The image has since been removed from Leyes' website.

"Please stop referring to this picture as 'artwork'," Pusha added on Twitter. "I'm not an internet baby, I don't edit images... this is a REAL picture... these are his truths, see for yourself."

But that's not the only dirty laundry Pusha airs out in the track. He also alleges that Drake conceived a child with former adult film star Sophie Brussaux, whom Pusha mentions by name.

The rumour has been circulated for months, and is now seemingly confirmed, with Pusha accusing Drake of being a "deadbeat mothaf**ka" and linking his apparent bad parenting to Drake's own parents.

Pusha even goes so far as to mock Drake's longtime producer Noah "40" Shebib, who suffers from multiple sclerosis.

Over Jay-Z's "The Story of O.J" he raps:

"Since you name-dropped my fiancee
Let 'em know who you chose as your Beyonce
Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother

On Instagram Pusha said: "Virginia Williams shan't ever be mentioned in song by ANYONE aside from me."

Brussaux was first linked to Drake when she was seen out with him in early 2017, according to Vulture. They were spotted having dinner in Amsterdam in January, then in May she told TMZ that Drake had allegedly texted her asking her to get an abortion.

At the time, a representative for Drake said: "If it is in fact Drake's child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child." They also claimed Brussaux had sex with another rapper around the same time as Drake, and that the other rapper had "all but acknowledged" the child was his.

Brussaux reportedly gave birth to a son on 24 October last year - nine months after the dinner. Her Instagram account, which features a photo where she is heavily pregnant, and another with her baby after giving birth, was made private after the release of Pusha's track.

Shebib responded to the diss by pointing out that 31 May is World MS Day.
