In an unlikely music collaboration, Snoop Dogg is teaming up with Psy for a new single.

The US rapper features on Psy’s new single “Hangover”, which promises to be a “party anthem” with a “raucous” music video.

Pictures of the two artists wearing tweed trousers playing pool together have appeared on Twitter from the video.

Other still pictures to emerge include Psy taking a bath in a public fountain while Snoop Dogg sits in front wearing giant green socks gesturing a gangster hand sign.

Psy’s Korean record label YG Entertainment has confirmed Snoop Dogg has “taken part” in the K-pop singer’s forthcoming full-length album.

The video for the new song, which also features fellow K-pop star G-Dragon, will debut on US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live on Saturday 8 June.

Last week, “Gangnam Style” officially became the first music video in YouTube’s history to hit two billion plays, with Psy promising more treats in store.

He said in a statement: “2 billion views….they are very honourable and very burdensome numbers. With appreciation, I will come back soon with more joyful contents!!”

Judging by the pictures from “Hangover”, more joyful content will be in store soon.
