Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Primavera Sound has announced its line-up for 2018 and - as expected - it's impressive as hell.

The well-regarded European festival will welcome Arctic Monkeys who are returning with a sixth record having last performed live three and a half years ago.

Bjork and The National will also headline the Barcelona event in its 18th year.

The full Primavera bill also includes the likes of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Haim, The War on Drugs, Tyler the Creator, Migos and Lorde.

You can find the full line-up below.

The mammoth bill has been hyped since December after the festival site posted a Twitter video showing fans' excited reactions after receiving a sneak peek at the line-up.

Last year's festival featured sets from Arcade Fire, Bon Iver and The xx.

Primavera Sound will take place at Parc Del Forum on the Spanish Coast in the city of Barcelona from 30 May-2 June. For more information and tickets, visit here.
