One Direction announce title for 3D documentary 'This Is Us'

The 3D film, due out 30 August, is produced by Simon Cowell and directed by the star of the 2005 documentary Super Size Me Morgan Spurlock.
Fans had thought the film would be called 1D3D as the Twitter account for the forthcoming film had suggested, but the group tweeted on Monday: “SO- the @1D3Dmovie is called THIS IS US. And THIS is the trailer. RT if you can’t wait to see it!”
Band mate Liam said to MTV: “You know what we always say, when we left home to do X Factor our parents were like ‘Make sure you take loads of pictures,’ but we’ve got a film to do that for us now so we can be lazy.”
The trailer for the film shows the band’s rise to worldwide fame, with a few tears shed by their mothers who say they don’t get to see their sons very much.
