From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Jay Z and Beyoncé have confirmed that they will tour together this summer after a wave of recent speculation.

The married duo announced the news earlier today with a poster revealing the title as On The Run, named after their collaboration song "Part II (On The Run)".

Both stars are wearing balaclavas and embracing, with Beyoncé looking out into the camera.

As of yet, the power couple will only be performing in US venues, kicking off proceedings in Miami's Sun Life Stadium on 25 June.

Other cities to be graced by Mr and Mrs Carter include Philadelphia, Toronto, Baltimore, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Chicago and Houston.

Some hope remains for UK fans, however, as the twosome have reportedly purchased a £5.5 million townhouse in London's Mayfair ahead of a rumoured string of shows.

The forthcoming tour will be Jay Z and Beyoncé’s first as a pair, following on from his Magna Carta run and her Mrs Carter Show.

The singers shared the stage for a raunchy rendition of "Drunk In Love" at the Grammys and again at London's O2 Arena.

The On The Run shows are likely to involve both duets and solo performances of their respective greatest hits.
