From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Miley Cyrus has been courting controversy with her latest music video, stage antics and overall persona. That’s not going to stop anytime soon, it seems.

Closing the final date of her Dead Petz tour with The Flaming Lips, the singer brought ex-Baywatch star Pamela Anderson on stage, all while wearing a unicorn horn and prosthetic penis.

With the stage overflowing with creatures, two men dressed as a rainbow and psychedelic stage props, the two joined forces during Cyrus’s hit ‘We Can’t Stop’, with everything going slightly over the top.

Watch the fan-filmed footage below.

The 23-year-old recently made headlines for dressing as a baby for her latest music video ‘BB Talk’, in which she sings the lines "f*ck me so you stop baby talkin’”.

The track features on her surprise album with The Flaming Lips, entitled Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.

The music video before 'BB Talk', ‘Lighter’ also featured a slightly crazy visuals, but instead of weird costumes, the trippy colours took centre stage.
