Beyoncé and Michelle Obama have been amigos for quite some time – the best part of a decade in fact.

For this reason, it should come as no surprise that a video of the pop superstar and former First Lady enjoying themselves at Beyoncé’s birthday last year has surfaced.

The clip, which is quickly making the rounds on social media, shows Obama, Beyoncé, her sister Solange and Solange’s son Julez. The gang are captured repeating the famous phrase “Bye, Felicia” from stoner buddy crime comedy Friday.

According to Beyoncé fan account The BeyHive team, the footage is from Beyoncé’s private birthday party. The singer’s loyal legion of fans are already demanding someone is fired for leaking what appears to be a private video.

“Y'all just going to leak videos with not only Beyoncé AND Solange, but Michelle Obama? Get your lawyer prepared for the storm that is coming,” said one.

Obama and Beyoncé’s burgeoning friendship was put into motion after Beyoncé attended President Obama’s inauguration with her husband Jay-Z in 2008. She performed a rendition of Etta James "At Last" for her first dance with the former President.

The pair has joined forces on a number of causes, such as the former First Lady’s Let’s Move campaign against childhood obesity which saw Beyoncé rework "Get Me Bodied" and rename it "Move Your Body".

Beyoncé, who of course voted for Barack Obama, has been vocal in her praise for his wife, saying she is personally inspired by her and that she “proves you can do it all”.

The feeling is evidently mutual – as when Obama was once asked who she would be if she could be anyone other than herself she replied “Beyoncé”.
