Megan Thee Stallion shared a graphic picture of her gunshot wound on social media after trolls accused her of lying about being shot.

Last month, the “Hot Girl Summer” musician was forced to undergo surgery after being shot in both feet as she left a Hollywood party.

Despite her describing the incident as the “worst experience” of her life, a number of trolls on social media suggested that Megan's ability to dance meant she was lying about her injuries, leading the rapper to set things straight on Wednesday (19 August) as she shared pictures of her injury to Instagram.

“Lol what I have learned abt majority of the people on social media is y’all like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and y’all really be believing the s*** YALL make up,” Megan captioned the post, which has since been removed.

“I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK.”

The Texas native explained that she had been able to dance since the stitches were removed from her feet two weeks ago, adding: “Why would I lie abt getting shot? Why are y’all so upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad? Why y’all upset that I can walk?

“I usually don’t address internet bulls*** but y’all people are so sick,” she continued. “God was really watching over me and I’m healing so well! Sorry I’m not as sad and miserable as a lot of y’all lol but ima keep being Megan Thee Mf STALLION [sic].”

Megan, who currently has the number one song in the US for her feature on Cardi B’s “WAP”, has previously criticised people for joking about her injury.

“It’s nothing to joke about. It’s nothing to make up fake stories about,” Megan said as she first addressed the incident on Instagram Live. “I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do s***.”

Prior to her injury, Megan had been in the car with fellow rapper Tory Lanez, who was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.

Early reports said that Megan had cut her feet on broken glass in the car, with surveillance footage of the incident showing her limping from the vehicle and leaving bloody footprints.
