The soundtrack album for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland features artists' reinterpretations of songs from Walt Disney's 1951 animated film. Artists featured on the album include Owl City, Robert Smith from The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, All Time Low, Mark Hoppus, Pete Wentz, and Avril Lavigne, whose "Alice (Underground)" is the soundtrack's first single.

'Plastic Beach'

Gorillaz, British musician David Albarn's collaboration with a revolving roster of musicians, is releasing its third studio album. The first single, "Stylo," is a collaboration with Bobby Womack and Mos Def that MTV News staffers are calling a potentially "trend-setting track for 2010." The band's most recent studio album, the Grammy-winning Demon Days, went five times platinum in the UK and double platinum in the US.

'Valleys of Neptune'

This album of previously unreleased material by Jimi Hendrix is one of many 2010 releases planned as part of the Jimi Hendrix Catalog Project, marking the 40th anniversary of the artist's death. Coming mostly from a four-month period in 1969, Valleys of Neptune is a 12-song collection that includes the final studio sessions of the original Jimi Hendrix Experience and Hendrix's first sessions with bassist Billy Cox.

'My World 2.0'

Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber rose to fame by posting homemade videos of himself covering songs by Usher, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder. His debut album M y World - which includes the hit single "One Time" as well as "First Dance," featuring Usher - was a top seller in the US, UK, and Canada. My World 2.0 features the song "Baby," which features American rapper Ludacris, a second single, "Never Let You Go," is due out March 2.

'Sticky & Sweet' CD/DVD

Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet" tour, which ran from August 2008 to September 2009, was the most successful tour ever by a solo artist and the second-highest-grossing trek of all time, according to tour producer Live Nation. On March 30, a concert film of Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet" performances in Buenos Aires will be released on DVD, Blu-Ray, and CD. The DVD will include 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage taken throughout the course of the 13-month tour.

'Raymond vs. Raymond'

Global R&B star Usher is due to release his sixth studio album in late March. Raymond v. Raymond, which was originally scheduled for a December 2009 release, includes the single "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)," plus production from Jermaine Dupri, T-Pain, Ne-Yo, The Neptunes,Tricky Stewart, and RedOne, among others. Usher's previous album, 2008's Here I Stand, hit number one on album charts in the US, UK, and Australia, and made the top ten in countries throughout Europe.
