Lil Pump, who is supporting Donald Trump at this year’s US election, appears to have tweeted the words “f*** Donald Trump” just before he became president in 2016.

Ahead of the US presidential election, in which Democratic candidate Joe Biden is taking on Trump, the rapper said he “appreciates” what he has done during his first term, claiming he “brought the troops home” and is “doing the right thing” for the country.

“MAGA [Make America Great Again] 2020,” he said, adding: “Don’t forget that, and do no vote for sleepy Joe at all.”

He appeared on stage at one of Trump’s last campaign rallies, where the president incorrectly introduced him as “Lil Pimp”.

Lil Pump also previously said he is going to “move the f*** out” of the US and go “to Colombia” if Trump doesn’t win the election.

A number of people have now discovered a tweet that suggests Lil Pump has drastically changed his views on Trump since the 2016 US election.

In fact, he was vehemently against him, and posted an anti-Trump tweet on the last day of voting that year.

The post has since been deleted. However, if you search for the tweet on Google, it appears as the top search term linked to Lil Pump’s official Twitter account.

In his last rally for the 2020 elections at Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Monday (2 November), Trump called the rapper on stage in front of the cheering crowd, and identified him as “one of the big superstars of the world”.

Lil Pump was nominated for best new artist at the VMAs in 2018. His breakthrough came with the 2017 hit “Gucci Gang”.

The final day of voting is currently taking place in the US. Find a rundown of which celebrities are supporting each candidate here.
