They initially postponed dates after Bret Mckenzie broke two bones in his hand

After being forced to reschedule numerous tour dates, Flight of the Conchords have announced an additional date at the Eventim Apollo, playing the London venue on the 1 July.

Earlier this year, the band abruptly postponed their UK and Ireland tour after Bret McKenzie managed to break two bones in his hand.

The singer/guitarist/rhymenoceros said: “Unfortunately I’ve broken two bones in my hand today in a very rock ‘n’ roll injury – falling down some stairs. The doctors have informed me that I won’t be able to perform for several weeks.

“I’m sorry not to be able to do these upcoming shows but I’m looking forward to coming back and finishing the tour when I have two fully functioning hands.”

All original tickets for the March shows will be valid for the corresponding new dates, which can all be seen below.

The Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchords Tour marks the comedy duo’s first UK shows in seven years. It features some classics from their HBO/BBC series as well as brand new material.
