The former Oasis star and now solo artist appeared on the Howard Stern Show where he spoke about his upcoming album and performed new single "Wall of Glass".
When the radio host asked where Liam's animosity with his brother had started, he reminisced about an incident that had taken place when they were still teenagers.
“I’d been out drinking when I was about 15 and I come in with a spliff as well. The room is spinning and I couldn’t find the light switch," he said.
"I thought ‘F*** it, I’m just gonna have to go'. So I whipped it out and pissed all over [Noel’s] new sound system. And I think he holds a grudge over that."
On the same show, Liam also re-launched his potato insults against Noel while accusing him of stalking Bono.
"Every time I see a couple of pictures of him, I just see a potato – maybe it's the way my brain is wired," he said.
“He’s a bit lost in the world at the moment. Every time I see him he’s got his arm around a celebrity. It’s like he’s stalking them.”
But despite the name-calling, Liam said he would put their longstanding rift behind them and consider an Oasis reunion.
“Without a doubt, man,” he said. “That's my band. You know what I mean? Without a doubt. That's my band, but we got to become brothers first before we start talking about music.
“When we start liking each other, inevitably the next step would be to take the band for a spin round the block."
Liam Gallagher is set to perform at Reading and Leeds festivals on 25-27 August, which are being headlined by Kasabian, Muse and Eminem.
