Your support makes all the difference.Liam Gallagher has responded to his critics after he called Queen frontman Freddie Mercury a "c***" - saying his comment was "vile".
Over the weekend, the former Oasis musician was tweeting when one of his followers sent him a message comparing him to Freddie Mercury writing: "Freddie Mercury – ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. Liam Gallagher – ‘Songbird’."
The 45-year-old musician replied saying, "F*** him the goofy c***."
Gallagher's followers were not thrilled with his remarks. One user wrote, "I hope you are joking, much respect to Freddy though."
Another follower said, "Really? But he is better than you anyway He was history and you are nugatory. Grow up Liam. Don’t be jealous of Freddie Mercury. He rocked the stage like nobody did before."
Gallagher proceeded to criticise artists Jeff Buckley and Coldplay as well.
He wrote, "Listening to this Grace by Jeff Buckley ha ha p****** myself we are casuals LG," adding, "Cat being strangled as you were."
"Rite Coldplay are on now I'm off to hang myself what the f*** is up with these people cmon people were making it now," he wrote.
Gallagher responded to backlash regarding his comments on Monday tweeting: "So I wake up to news that I hit another and I mean another all time low after my vile and I mean vile outburst outburst did somebody say outburst about Fred mercy. I’m sooooooo sorry if I upset anybody it’s a good job there’s 24 hours in a day as you’ll get over it LG x."
The controversial vocalist added: "Last thing I don’t know why people get offended by the word c*** I get called a good looking c*** everyday don’t hear me crying as you were LGx."
