Your support makes all the difference.Popular summer festival Latitude has revealed the first acts set to perform in July next year, with Northern Irish trio Two Door Cinema Club announced as a headliner.
The indie pop group, who will play their only UK show at the Henham Park festival in Suffolk, and have described the news as “really exciting”. “We’re ready to smash it,” bassist Kevin Baird said.
Two Door Cinema Club have appeared at Latitude over the past five years, but only ever in the small tents.
Röyksopp, an electronic duo from Norway, will collaborate with “Dancing On My Own” singer Robyn for a special joint appearance as part of their limited Do It Again world tour dates.
British folk-punk singer Billy Bragg, Mercury Prize nominee Anna Calvi and Phosphorescent have joined the bill, playing alongside LA rock sisters Haim, Nils Frahm and multi-instrumentalist Booker T Jones.
Over 400 acts are still to be confirmed for 2014 but others set to appear include Willis Earl Beal, Son Lux, Marika Hackman and Josephine Foster.
Latitude first opened his fates in 2006 and has since grown to 35,000 capacity with more than 15 stages and arenas.
Last year’s headliners were German electronic band Kraftwerk, Bloc Party and Foals.
