The 26-year-old singer thanked her fans on her blog, saying they gave her “a lot of strength.”
She wrote that her fans had "completely blown her mind" and said she thought about them as she was wheeled into surgery.
"I thought about all of your pain and perseverance, your unique family situations, school environments, health issues, homelessness, identity struggles — sometimes you are so brave that it terrifies me," she wrote.
Only last week the 26-year-old singer had to cancel her Born This Way tour after suffering a severe hip injury.
Lady Gaga cancelled more than 20 dates on the remainder of her tour, which began last April. She originally postponed four dates last week after experiencing difficulties during her concert in Montreal.
Last week the singer revealed she had been hiding the injury for over a month. She tweeted to her 34 million Twitter followers about her reluctance to cancel the tour dates: “It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I’m sorry.”
