Lady Gaga announces three more months of "Monster Ball"
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Lady Gaga will bring her Monster Ball tour back to North America following her current European tour dates, announced Live Nation on March 15. The 2010 North American leg of The Monster Ball Tour will begin on June 28 in Montreal and will include shows in 31 arenas through September 19.
The tour's second North American leg will apparently build on the first, which the artist has described as "the first-ever pop-electro opera." In a February interview with KIIS-FM's Ryan Seacrest, Lady Gaga promised of the updated show: "It's still called Monster Ball, but it's more of a musical and less of a concert. It has a New York theme, it's a story, and the story is that me and my friends are in New York and we're going to the Monster Ball, and we get lost."
Tickets for some of the new Monster Ball dates - including those in New York, Vancouver, Toronto, San Jose, Los Angeles, and Boston - go on sale March 19 or shortly thereafter at LiveNation.com. Virgin Mobile customers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, March 16 at 10:00am local time.
