It was a random and quite enjoyable little Easter egg, but the band ditched the tradition today, announcing a new album simply titled Walls.
Update: Well damn, seems they didn't ditch it completely - it's an acronym:
It will be out on 14 October and was produced by Markus Dravs, who apparently had a big impact on the record.
"He just said things that nobody had ever said to us. Like, 'I don't like that song, that's not good, we can move on from that.'" Jared Followill told Billboard, adding that Dravs would make them write new verses on the fly, or suddenly change the style, pace or genre of the song: "He'd be like, 'OK, now play it like the Sex Pistols.' And then you've turned a slow song into a fast one."
