They were hastily made in time for the band's UK tour dates

Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

The Jenners plastered their faces over images of iconic artists, so Arcade Fire have plastered their logo over the Jenners.

At the first of the band's London shows, NME's Thomas Smith spotted a stencil of Kylie's face on a $25 t-shirt (proceeds going to charity) with the new Everything Now symbol over the top.

It's quite a fitting stunt for Arcade Fire, whose social media for their new album has taken on a sarcastic pro-capitalist tone of late.

Kylie and Kendall's original t-shirts saw a huge backlash, with one featuring Ozzy Osbourne leading to his wife Sharon tweeting: "Girls, you haven’t earned the right to put your face with musical icons. Stick to what you know…lip gloss."

Kendall, who's had a lousy year that also involved the Pepsi ad furore, eventually responded: "These designs were not well thought out and we deeply apologize to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists.

"We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in anyway.

"The t-shirts have been pulled from retail and all images have been removed. We will use this as an opportunity to learn from these mistakes and again, we are very sorry."
