From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Kanye West has released his first ever collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, 'No More Parties in LA'.

The rapper's wife, Kim Kardashian West, announced earlier this year that Kanye would be releasing a new track every Friday in the run-up to the release of SWISH on the 11 February.

However, this week's offering was delayed due to Kanye needing to make some final adjustments on one of his fashion collections.

'No More Parties in LA' marks the second time Kanye has sampled Ghostface Killah’s phrase off 'Mighty Healthy', the first being on 'New God Flow' from the compilation album Cruel Summer.

Kendrick supported Mr West on the Yeezus tour but the pair had never appeared on a track together until now. Listen below.

A snippet of the track was heard at the end of Real Friends, released the previous Friday. Like in that track, Kanye references the theft of his laptop.

SWISH, Kanye's seventh album, is expected on the 11 February, but as with everything he does, expect the unexpected. Listen to Kanye's last GOOD Fridays track here.
