Jennifer Lopez was rushed off set for her latest music video in Florida after “gunshots” were heard close by.

The singer, 43, was filming the video to her new single “Live It Up” at a beach park in Fort Lauderdale in south Florida when gunshots were reportedly heard.

TV presenter Rob Marciano, who was conducting an interview with the star when the shots were heard, tweeted: “BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away.”

He later added: “Can hear & see ambulances converging ~400 yards down the street. Police confirming: ‘shots fired. No one hit.’ Whew.”

Local police responded to a call of shots fired in the north of the park, while Lopez and her film crew were filming in the southernmost point.

Fort Lauderdale Police Department spokeswoman Det. DeAnna Greenlaw said: “At around 7:30 PM, police received a report that shots were fired in a parking lot near the northern end of the park located at 800 Seabreeze Boulevard.”

The mother of two is reported to have got straight back to work after the incident to continue filming the video to her new single, which features Pitbull on the track.
