From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Among other acts set to perform are The Flaming Lips (presenting their Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon cover album), Weezer, Norah Jones, LCD Soundsystem, The xx, and She & Him. A complete list of artists announced so far can be viewed at the Bonnaroo website.

Tickets for the 2010 festival went on sale February 9 at noon EST. A limited number of general admission tickets are still available at $234.50. After that round sells out, tickets will go for $249.50. Payment plans are available for both general admission tickets and for VIPs, which are $1,349.50 per pair.

The top-grossing festival in North America, the Bonnaroo Festival brings nearly 90,000 people to Great Stage Park, a 700-acre (2.8 sq km) farm in Manchester, Tennessee. In addition to dozens of performances, the festival features a 100-acre "entertainment village" with an arcade, cinema, silent disco, and comedy club.
