The comedian and actor will front the show, which is being shown live on television from the 02 arena in south London on Tuesday February 15.
He said: "I have always loved the Brits and I am honoured to have been asked to host such a prestigious event."
Nominations for the music awards are being announced later today.
Corden co-hosted the awards in 2009 with Kylie Minogue and Gavin And Stacey co-star Mathew Horne.
This year's winners will pick up trophies designed by fashion guru Dame Vivienne Westwood.
Brits bosses have promised this year's show will have a new Oscars-style approach, focusing on the best album prize as the prestige award.
