The first wave of artists taking to the Staples Center stage on 8 February was announced on Twitter this morning, with Australian rockers AC/DC and country singer Eric Church also on the line-up.
Iconic pop star Madonna self-confirmed her appearance earlier this week after she posted a mash-up picture of her Rebel Heart album artwork and a Grammy Award on social media.
Manager Guy Oseary later told Billboard that she would be performing at the 57th ceremony for the fifth time.
Last year, Madonna teamed up with rappers Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on tracks “Open Your Heart” and “Same Love”, during which 33 couples, some same-sex, were married by Queen Latifah.
As for AC/DC, it remains to be seen whether the legendary group will continue without drummer Phil Rudd, who is facing threatening to kill and drug possession charges in New Zealand.
Co-founder Angus Young was forced to retire from the band after he was revealed to be suffering from dementia.
Sheeran is nominated in three categories at the Grammys, while Grande is up for two.
