Your support makes all the difference.On December 2, the nominations for the 2009 Grammy Awards will be announced at a special concert event in Los Angeles. Hosted by LL Cool J, the event will feature performances by Black Eyes Peas, Maxwell, and Sugarland, reported Grammy.com November 11.
"The Grammy Nominations Concert Live" will air live in the United States on CBS from Club Nokia in downtown L.A. The special marks the second time Grammy nominations will be announced live on US primetime television.
One of the most prestigious music award shows worldwide, the Grammys are now in their 52nd year. Nominations, which are submitting by the Recording Industry Association of America, cover 31 fields, including pop, rock, classical, and a wide variety of other genres, with multiple award categories honoring artists, producers, and engineers in each field. 2009 winning artists included Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Adele, Lil Wayne, and Coldplay.
