Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Epics Records announced on Monday that George Michael will release Live in London, the first live DVD of his career, on December 7. The full-concert DVD was recorded and filmed at London's Earls Court arena on August 24 and 25, 2008, two shows that marked the end of the artist's 25 Live Tour.

Live in London features tracks including "Careless Whisper," "Freedom," "Faith," "Everything She Wants," and "Amazing," plus a documentary, I'd Know Him a Mile Off, with behind-the-scenes tour footage. The DVD will be available worldwide December 7 on DVD and Blu-Ray.

George Michael's albums have sold more than 100 million copies globally. The artist's 25 Live Tour, his first in 15 years, began in 2006 with nearly 80 shows throughout Europe, followed by a 2008 leg through North America, his first visit there for 20 years.
