From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. The 18-year-old actress, who plays Sansa Stark in the hit HBO fantasy drama, plays a starring role in the video for new single “Oblivion”, lip-syncing along to Bastille’s male vocals.

Turner has starred in Game of Thrones since the show’s first series in 2011, and has also made appearances in TV drama The Thirteenth Tale and thriller Another Me.

The actress’ character Sansa Stark is anticipated to return to Game of Thrones when the fifth series airs in the spring of 2015.

The Northampton-born British actress has previously earned a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Supporting Young Actress in a TV Series for her role in George RR Martin’s adapted series.

Bastille’s new track is taken from their number one album Bad Blood, following the success of their two top five singles “Pompeii” and “Of the Night”.

The band’s single “Pompeii” was named the most streamed track ever in the UK last with over 26 million streams, according to data from the Official Charts Company.
