From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

There has been huge excitement surrounding Fleetwood Mac’s ongoing UK tour; not only have reviewers been singing praises about Stevie Nicks but it has also been hinted by guitarist Lindsay Buckingham to be their last set of shows.

Unfortunately for fans in Birmingham though, you’ll have to wait another month to see the Mac in all their glory as they’ve had to reschedule tonight's (9 June) show until 7 July due to illness.

In a statement released by the band, they confirmed that the gig at the Genting Arena would not take place as scheduled and did not specify which member of the group was feeling ill.

"We are very sorry to announce that due to illness the Fleetwood Mac concert at Birmingham Genting Arena this evening will not take place and has been re-scheduled for Tuesday 7th July 2015,” the statement read.

“All tickets remain valid for the re-scheduled performance. For refunds please visit your point of purchase."

Fleetwood Mac have been announced as headliners for the Isle of Wight Festival, and were rumoured to be playing Glastonbury's iconic Pyramid Stage until The Who took the last headline slot.

The legendary group has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and are regarded as one of the bestselling bands in history.
