Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Bastille and Hotchip will headline this year’s Festival No. 6, it has been revealed.

Playing the Friday night will be the Brit winning Bastille, with Hot Chip following on Saturday night and the ex-Oasis singer/songwriter closing on Sunday.

Other confirmed artists include the likes of indie rockers Django Django, acoustic troubadour Lucy Rose and rapper Roots Manuva.

Live acts also appearing at the Welsh festival include Aurora, Blossoms, Echo & The Bunnymen, Frances, Gwenno, JP Cooper, Lawrence Taylor, NGOD, Oh Wonder, Oscar, Roisin Murphy and The Amazons.

There’s also a stellar selection of DJs, including 6 Music funk and soul maestro Craig Charles, Fleetmac Wood, Joy Orbison, Kate Simko & The London Electronic Orchestra, Optimo (Until the Music Stops), Smooth Sailing presents Kaftan Discotheque and The 2 Bears. Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston will also present A Love from Outer Space.

“This is year five and it just keeps getting better and better,” Festival founder Gareth Cooper said in a statement. “We’re extremely excited about this year’s festival - our first wave of artists and DJ’s is better than ever and there are plenty more surprises up our sleeves.”

Festival No. 6 will take place on the 1-4 September 2016, with tickets available from the official website.
