Considering how many royal events Elton John has appeared at, was there ever any question about whether the Rocket Man would be at the next royal wedding?

Although there’s been no public confirmation that the singer will attend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, Elton has rescheduled two Las Vegas performances that were originally set for that exact weekend. According to the 70-year-old’s official website, the move comes due to “a scheduling conflict.”

The pair will marry on the 19 May at Windsor Castle – Elton was expected to play wrap up his The Million Dollar Piano shows on the 18 and 19 of May, now finishing on the 17. The dates have been moved to the 6 and 16 of May with refunds available from point of purchase.

Meanwhile, Elton recently announced his retirement from touring, revealing at a press conference he would stop playing live shows after a farewell tour – consisting of 300 shows over three years.

“My priorities have changed,” he told guests at a New York press conference. “My priorities are my children, my husband and my family.”
