The singer, 67, was involved in a crash at an intersection in Nashville, Tennessee, while riding in the passenger seat of a friend’s Nissan Xterra.
She assured her fans on social media that she was alright, tweeting: “I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good…Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now!”
A Nashville police statement said the driver of the other car “failed to yield” but none of the injuries appeared serious.
The “Jolene” singer and her friend, 68-year-old Judy Ogle, were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Parton and Ogle have been close friends since elementary school, according to previous interviews.
The driver of the other vehicle that crashed into Parton’s car was taken to another hospital for treatment, police said.
