From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Craig David is re-rewinding the clock back to the height of his chart domination with the release of his first new album in six years, Following My Intuition.
The hugely popular RnB singer will drop his hotly-awaited record on 30 September with “Ain’t Giving Up”, his latest single with Sigala, opening the tracklist.
“I’m back in that 16-year-old kid mode, hungry, passionate and making music that I’m truly proud of,” he said. “I want to deliver the music that people have been asking for, for so long, following my intuition and coming from a great place.”
Following My Intuition will be David’s first new album since 2010’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered as well as marking sixteen years (it makes us feel old too) since he took the club scene by storm with Born To Do It. It’s nostalgia overload for many of us, but with some fresh new beats to hook younger listeners in too.
David performs at V Festival this weekend followed by Fusion Festival in Liverpool on 3 September, while continuing his Ibiza Rocks Hotel residency every Sunday. He has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide during the course of his long career, achieving 16 Top 10 hits and multi-platinum status in over 20 countries.
