Charli XCX has labelled Eminem “disgusting” after the rapper threatened Iggy Azalea with rape on his new track “Vegas”.

The song includes the lyrics: “So what’s it gon’ be? Put that shit away, Iggy. You don’t wanna blow that rape whistle on me. Scream! I love it.”

Speaking to Australian magazine Famous via Spin.com, the British singer said of the threat: “It was disgusting, and totally Eminem. He has a history of provocative lyrics, so it’s hardly surprising, but still intensely shocking.

“Iggy’s a classy lady and she rose above it.”

Iggy Azalea previously responded to Eminem’s lyrics by saying she was bored of “old men threatening young women as entertainment trend”, adding that “women in music have the bigger balls”.

Other disturbing “Vegas” lyrics include: “B***h, shut the f**k up and get in my car. And suck my f**king d**k while I take a s**t.”

The song, which is taken from Eminem’s new compilation album SHADYXV, is the singer's latest attempt to abuse women through his lyrics.

In a separate promotional video for the album, he also rapped about wanting to “punch Lana Del Rey twice in the face”.

Eminem can be heard saying: “B*tch I'll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/ ’Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.”

Lana Del Rey has yet to reply to the rapper’s threat, but Azealia Banks leapt to the singer’s defence on Twitter instead, telling the rapper to “go back to his trailer park and eat his microwave hotpocket dinner”.
