'I been neglecting myself, not taking care of me. I take a shower every day, but when is it bath time? Now.'

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Every day around the world, too many baths are forsaken for the convenience of showers.
A bath is sacred, magical and, as you can probably tell just one and a half sentences into this story, a matter close to my heart.
Chance the Rapper understands this and is taking some time out (of his day, not rap career don’t worry) to bathe and listen to fresh jams.
“I been neglecting myself, not taking care of me,” he wrote on Twitter. “I take a shower everyday. But when is it Bath time? Now.”
“Enjoy a bath once in a while. I made this playlist. Get in the tub, press shuffle and treat yourself.”
Church.
The bath time playlist starts off kind of spicy (presumably for when the bath water is still too hot) with Young Thug’s ‘Harambe’ before smoothing out with Bon Iver’s ’00000 Million’ and Solange’s ‘Cranes in the Sky’.
There’s also some reworking of Chance’s own songs in there, and a ton of Frank Ocean Blonde album tracks.
So fill up the tub, add in frankly too much bubble bath and enjoy.
