Bhad Bhabie’s forthcoming show in Jordan has been cancelled after she reportedly expressed unintentional support for Israel on Twitter.

The “cash me outside” viral star and rapper, real name Danielle Bregoli, was supposed to perform in Amman on 8 July and then in Tel Aviv, Israel.

In an Instagram post uploaded on Monday (17 June), Pop! – a social media and event agency based in Jordan – announced that the 16-year-old’s concert had been scrapped due to what the company's founder, Sanad Kteshat, calls her support of Israel.

“The cancellation comes from the [recently] surfaced support to Israel, which is something that violates the moral values of my company,” Kteshat said on his Instagram story.

According to TMZ, a post on Bhabie's Twitter account involving an interaction with a Palestinian athlete is what led to the cancellation. She was tagged in a post written in Arabic, and she responded with a comment proclaiming her love for McDonald's, apparently not understanding what he had written.

The person that tweeted at Bhad Bhabie was Palestinian long distance runner Mohammad Alqadi, who was actually encouraging his followers to stop supporting Bhabie because he believed she was pro-Israel.

After Bhabie's show was canceled, Alqadi claimed he had been blocked by the rapper's Twitter account: “Why she blocked me because i asked her to stop supporting apartheid Israel . @BhadBhabie your tour to Jordan was cancelled,” he wrote in a tweet. “[I] told you we will work to cancel it and we did . #bhadbhabie #spaz #lottadem.”

According to TMZ, her team said promoters have overreacted to the incident, and that Bhabie has not expressed support for either side of the Israel-Palestine conflict. The rapper reportedly did not bother to translate the tweet, and was not being intentionally disrespectful to Alqadi.

The Independent has contacted a representative for Bhad Bhabie for comment.
