Your support makes all the difference.In case you missed it, a couple of weeks ago it emerged that David Bowie had turned down the opportunity to feature on one of their tracks because ‘it wasn’t very good’.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, frontman Chris Martin spoke about his Super Bowl co-performer Beyoncé. When asked whether they would collaborate on a song together, he revealed that the songstress had turned down one of his tracks, called “Hook Up”.
He said: “In the sweetest possible way: She told me, 'I really like you -- but this is awful.’” Ouch.
In the same interview, Martin spoke about his divorce from actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
Both Coldplay and Beyoncé played the Super Bowl halftime show, as did Bruno Mars, with one headline calling it an ‘incoherent mess’. The three acts combined together to sing a version of “Fix You” by Coldplay, while Beyoncé performed her new song “Formation” on her own.
Also singing at the Football game was Lady Gaga who sang a breaking rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
