Your support makes all the difference.Following the news that Swedish DJ Avicii has died at the age of 28, musicians have flooded social media with tributes to the late artist.
Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, was found dead in Muscat, Oman on Friday.
Since the heartbreaking announcement, confirmed by Avicii’s publicist, the music community has expressed their sorrow and sympathies.
DJ Calvin Harris responded to the news with a tweet that read: “Devastating news about Avicii, a beautiful soul, passionate and extremely talented with so much more to do. My heart goes out to his family. God bless you Tim x.”
“Such sad news to hear about Avicii passing. Too young and way too soon. My condolences go out to his family, friends and fans x,” wrote Dua Lipa on Twitter.
Artist Liam Payne tweeted: “Oh my god truly devastated for Avicii very very sad news way too young… what a talent he was. Rest in peace x”
Fellow EDM artist Eric Prydz responded to the news with: “I have no words… RIP Tim.”
The “Le7els” creator was also mourned by other artists as news of his death continued to spread.
