The singer announced the news on Tuesday, saying she was “beyond thrilled, honored, excited” to join fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton.
Starting on the show’s 21st season, Grande will replace Nick Jonas, who was featured as a coach on seasons 20 and 18.
“We will miss you,” Grande told Jonas in her social media announcement.
In the past, Jonas has switched places with Gwen Stefani, who was featured on seasons 17 and 19 of the talent show.

Shelton has been a coach for all of The Voice’s 20 seasons so far. Legend joined for season 16 and Clarkson became a full-time coach on season 14. Both have remained on the roster ever since.
Legend shared Grande’s announcement on Tuesday and tweeted: “So excited to welcome Ariana to our Voice family!!”
Jonas also cheered on Grande, writing: “Congrats @ArianaGrande! You’re going to kill it next season! Welcome to the family.”
The Voice’s 20th season began on 1 March and is still underway.
